Last week C&B Alice Springs and RAFT Art Space hosted a number of exciting free informative art events that covered the latest innovations in artist paints.

Hands on demonstrations on colour, pigments and paint creation; new possibilities for artists who use oils; and the latest innovations in acrylics were presented by experts in their field.

Demonstrations also took to the Bush with a pop up show demonstrating the latest painting materials among the gum trees.

A presentation by Dr Rennee Beale and Winsor & Newton resident artist Natalie O’Connor in conversation about colour and permanency in artwork, included an unusual chemistry experiment involving cabbages.
