Bespoke Contemporary Hand Made Table Won By Indigenous Award Winning Author

Chapman and Bailey and our skilled designers and craftsmen came to the party and offered the beautiful Spider Bite Love, a spotted gum writing desk as a prize in a collaboration to promote The Garden of Sorrows, John Hughes and Marco Luccio’s beautiful new book.

The sleekly designed desk is rich for the colour and grain qualities that the spotted gum brings. Its nice twist is the discrete drawers that can hold stationary and a laptop and then open out from each end of the desk.

The desk was displayed in the window promotion for The Garden of Sorrows at The Hill of Content book store.

And who better to win the hand made timber writing desk than award winning Australian Indigenous author Alexis Wright.
