Description: Lascaux Retarder Ultra is a mixture of water and propanediol with acrylic polymer. It is a higher viscosity version of the regular Retarder, which, when added to acrylics, extends drying time significantly—up to three times longer than the regular Retarder.
Suitable For:
- Extending drying time of acrylic colors on nonporous supports

Application Instructions:
- Adding Lascaux Retarder Ultra will change the viscosity of Lascaux Artist Acrylics only slightly.
- It extends the relatively short drying time of acrylic colors and keeps the paint film open longer, up to a couple of hours.
- Reduces the evaporation rate of water and enhances the reemulsifying capacity of the paint.
