White Primer and “Grip Coat”
Description: White primer and “grip coat” are suitable for rigid, non-absorbent supports like iron and non-ferrous metals (aluminium, brass, copper, zinc) which are not too mechanically stressed. They can also be used on polyester, acrylic glass, glass, and fibre cement in both interior and exterior settings (such as murals).
Suitable For:
- Iron and non-ferrous metals (aluminium, brass, copper, zinc)

- Fibre cement
Application Instructions:
- Ensure all supports are free of oxide, dust, and grease.
- For ferrous metals, treat with a rust protective priming.
- On absorbent supports, apply with a brush or roller (initial sizing with Lascaux Hydro Sealer is recommended).
- On non-absorbent supports, use a spray gun for application.
- Dilute the first application with approximately 10-30% water, depending on the absorption of the support.
Temperature Guidelines: Lascaux Uni-Primer should not be used below the temperature of +8°C (+46°F).
