Made from carefully selected two-year-old willow rods, these extra-thick sticks are ideal for large-scale drawings and expressive mark-making. Their robust structure makes them strong enough to use on a variety of surfaces, including paper, card, and canvas.

As a completely natural product, each stick of willow charcoal is unique. Sizes are approximate, and gentle variations in thickness and shape are part of its organic character.

If you look closely, you’ll notice the fine details of its making — the faint leaf scars and the soft pith running through the centre — evidence of the willow’s natural growth and hand preparation.
